To address Nigerians tonight in an interview
(Sahara Reporters) President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 2019 appropriation bill into law.
The assent of the President will officially make the bill become law and signal the commencement of the 2019 fiscal budget.
The signing of the bill had in attendance, Speaker of House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation, Danjuma Goje, the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udo, Udoma, the Senior Special Assistant on National Assembly Matters, Ita Enang.
Others are the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari and Minister of Finance, Boss Mustapha.
In a related development, President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday night appear on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) in a special interview at 10 pm.
Garba Shehu, presidential spokesperson conveyed the details of the broadcast in a brief statement on Monday.
He said: “All Television station’s and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to this broadcast”.
